Its a simple mind game. The things that we see create more impression on us than the things that we read. Well, there is no hidden secret in this and perhaps that is one of the reasons why current world studies are all about experiencing things rather than just reading them from a book or net.
It didn’t take Infographics much time to outperform blog posts. Well, as far as a definition is concerned, let me tell you what Infographics are. These are pictorial representations of the content, finely diagrammed in a picture where you can easily assimilate the message.
While you search anything on Google, it brings forth the blogs and articles related to the subject searched. Infographics is also the data but in a more reformed way. it has certainly become a favourite kind of expression in social media, a powerful tool for the marketers and a best way to express the content in the most interesting way for the bloggers.
However, I will surely say that it saves a lot of time as you don’t have to write a big fat article on a certain topic but some pictures and some helpful data regarding those graphics are sufficient enough to get things done.
How Inforgraphics does Saves You?
Well, for starters, you don’t have to wrap your head around when you see 1000 words solutions to your simple questions available on the net. Let’s admit this; no one in the current world has the time to read so much. People require swift answers to their questions. What could be better than an infographic that only need very little amount of data and viola?
Everything is structured and interestingly placed in an infographic. You just have to follow a track and by the time you reach the end of the picture, you will be with a solution in your head. But don’t be pleased so soon. As much as people are more than willing to accept convenient solutions, there is a downside to the Infographics as well.
The Downside-
Well, it is not necessary that every question can be thoroughly answered in a small picture. Some questions are detailed and they require detailed solutions. For this, you cannot use the Infographics. And if you do use these, you are only moving towards hampering your credibility with the readers and nothing more.
For a blogger or social media specialist, the readership is something to keep considerably. Therefore, you wouldn’t want to hamper it.
Also, there are some old school people who find satisfaction in reading a blog then discovering their way through an infographic. For some, so much content and images in one graphic becomes difficult to handle. People also couldn’t find satisfactory answer to their question. That is why, it is imperative for both readers and the people posting Infographics to understand the nerve and play accordingly.
You cannot pose things on the readers because they will literally dismiss your work in seconds. It is best to commence with simple Infographics and once you see that readers have started to accept them, you can stretch your horizon accordingly.
